Regattas 2026

The Tahoe Yacht Club welcomes the Laser Class to the pristine waters and snow capped mountains of Lake Tahoe June 20-22 at the Lake Forest Boat Ramp.  This is the biggest event of the season and is not to be missed.  All three Laser sail sizes are welcome. 4.7, Radial and Standard Rig.  Register at https://tahoeyc.com/sailing

Race Lasers, Melges 15s or the RS Zest in this summer long series hosted by the Tahoe Yacht Club.  Racing starts every Monday Night at 6 PM at the Lake Forest Boat Ramp.  May 25 through August 31.  Register at https://tahoeyc.com/sailing

New for 2026 is Lake Tahoe's first dedicated Zest Regatta for kids.   It happens August 8-9 out of the Lake Forest Boat Ramp Noon to 5 PM.   We have 14 boats available for kids to sail.  We'll be using Jibs and each boat can accomodate two kids, a skipper and crew.  They can rotate between races if they like.  This is meant to be a fun introduction to Racing and kids from any sailing program are welcome.

The Trans Tahoe Regatta is the summer's biggest keelboat racing event on Lake Tahoe July 10-12 2026.   Friday afternoon is short course racing followed by the distance race on Saturday for double points.  Register at https://tahoeyc.com/sailing

The Melges 24 Fleet gathers in South Lake Tahoe for a Melges 24 class only one design Regatta.  Aug 22-24 Hosted by the Windjammers Yacht Club.  Register at https://sltwyc.com/
